Meet the Team
Advisors who have worked inside the institutions you're applying to.
Soller & Stowe is led by two educators with a combined 20+ years of experience in higher education — including institutional roles at Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and the University of South Florida.
Mr. Gerald Soller
Co-Founder & Multidisciplinary Advisor
Career Advisor — Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine
Former Pre-Health Advisor — University of Michigan
M.Ed. Higher Education Leadership — Oakland University
Gerald holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership from Oakland University and has been dedicated to student success in medical education ever since. With five years at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he currently serves as a Career Advisor, Gerald brings a rare level of institutional expertise to his consulting work.
His experience spans both ends of the health professions pipeline. As a former Pre-Health Advisor at the University of Michigan, Gerald worked closely with undergraduate students applying to medical school, physician assistant programs, dental school, post-baccalaureate programs, and health certificate programs.
Gerald's approach to advising is developmental at its core. He believes the strongest applications are built through genuine partnership — where advisor and student work closely together to design a strategy that is deeply personalized, strategically sound, and authentically reflective of who the student is.
Dr. Megan Stowe
Co-Founder & Multidisciplinary Advisor
Instructional Consultant — University of Michigan Center for Research on Learning and Teaching
Former Pre-Health & Biomedical Sciences Advisor — University of South Florida
Ph.D. in English — University of South Florida
Dr. Megan Stowe brings deep expertise in academic advising across every stage of the educational journey — from high school students navigating college placement to doctoral candidates building research profiles. Her approach centers on helping students articulate not just what they have done, but why it matters and where it is taking them.
With a background spanning pre-college, graduate, and doctoral program advising, she works with students across a wide range of disciplines — including master's programs, PhD applications, MFA programs, EdD programs, and policy programs. As a former Pre-Health and Biomedical Sciences Advisor at the University of South Florida, she also brings direct experience supporting students applying to health professional programs.
Her advising philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student has a compelling story — and that the advisor's role is to help them find the clearest, most honest way to tell it.
